4) How to clean motorcycle carburetor?

In the use of motorcycle carburetor, sediment and water are often deposited at the bottom of the carburetor, which affects the normal driving of the vehicle. The following is a wonderful way to clean the carburetor without dismantling it: first turn off the oil switch, loosen the oil drain screw at the bottom of the carburetor with a screwdriver, drain all the fuel in the carburetor, and then turn on the oil switch. After the oil flows out, blow air (or use an air pump) to the waste oil pipe on the outer wall of the throttle valve.

At this time, you will find that mud, sand and water droplets are sprayed from the drain pipe at the bottom of the carburetor. Repeat this several times to clean up the sediment and water in the carburetor pontoon. Then tighten the bottom screw, and the motorcycle can be used normally.

5) How to maintain electroplated parts?

Most of the corrosive solutions of Electrodeposited coatings are relatively stable in organic acids and can maintain luster for a long time. However, the following situations will corrode the electrodeposited coating, which needs attention and measures to be taken for protection.

1. For the scrubbing of plastic electroplated parts, only use a soft cloth dipped in clean water (warm water), not oil, because it will destroy the coating of plastic electroplated parts.

2. For plated parts such as exhaust pipe, fender and rim, do not brush dirt with a steel wire brush, because the wire of the steel wire brush will scratch the coating surface. Soak the dirt with clean water and then scrub it in the above way. If the foam is not loose, use wooden rods to gently remove the scale.

3. Avoid contact with salt, hydrochloric acid, bittern and other substances. Because the coating is easy to dissolve in the above substances, it is necessary to prevent contact with 84 disinfectant, bleaching powder, toilet cleaning and other substances.

4. Motorcycles do not have to be stored in places with gas, briquette stove and coal smoke. This is because carbon monoxide (CO) will cause gray black network cracks and corrosion of the coating.

5. For the galvanized surface on the strip, a dark gray alkaline zinc carbonate film is formed on its surface, which can reasonably and effectively prevent the internal metal from corrosion. Therefore, in the process of scrubbing, it is not necessary to wipe and polish the dark gray galvanized surface, and some neutral machine oil can be wiped for protection.

6. Pay attention to the way of scrubbing. Usually, you only need to wipe the neutral oil, such as sewing oil, on the electroplating layer of the motorcycle once a week. Pay attention to wipe the dirt with a soft cloth every time you wipe the oil; After driving in rainy days, clean the dirt with clean water first; Then scrub with a soft cloth and finally dip in engine oil. It is not necessary for the oil to touch the paint and tire when wiping the oil, so as to prevent paint loss and tire aging. If there is water mist inside the instrument and its coating, first dry it with an electric hair dryer and then scrub it.
