Addtime: 2021-12-17   Views: 2071

In most cases, the first few minutes of riding experience are almost comfortable, but once you have to sit on the motorcycle for a long time, it is a kind of torture. Fortunately, some methods can be used to solve this problem. Here, we will give specific ways to make longer riding more comfortable.

1. Fully relax your muscles and bones

Before riding, you should relax the muscle tissue of your whole body. If you are equipped with professional riding equipment that fits your body and can adjust your range of motion, you can still wear these when you stretch. If you have taken physical education in high school, you will know how to relax your body. This specific method also applies here. The action time is stable for about 30 seconds.

First, move your legs and feet: touch your toes with your hands, spread your legs to the width of your two shoulders, shrink your torso downward, with your head facing the ground, and then bend your knees alternately to relax the inner thigh muscles. Quadriceps femoris can be trained by knee bending. The head and neck also need to be more careful: turn the head over your shoulders to relax your back by lifting your arms up and pressing them back. These relaxation exercises can make you more flexible and maintain a stable and good state in the next few hours.

2. Supplement water

Before you start, keep drinking water until you can't drink it, and then fill the kettle with water before you start. The purpose of this is to stabilize your urination frequency at once per hour and make your urine stable and normal. If you're behind schedule or it's getting dark, you should drink more water. When riding, even if you just ride along a straight road, you need to consume a lot of energy. Therefore, sufficient water can prevent muscle pain and make your mind more flexible. Here we refer specifically to water, not other drinks containing sugar and caffeine.

3. Dress properly

Regardless of the weather conditions, riding equipment can provide you with a more comfortable experience. We all know its function in rainy days and cold environments, but even in hot environments, proper riding equipment can help cool the body than the wind itself. Natural ventilation or grid like riding equipment can control and regulate the air flow around the body, which is cooler than just letting the wind dry the sweat and take away the heat. Or you can soak a scarf with water, which can also cool down. At the same time, you also need to take sunscreen measures in advance. Any exposed part of the skin needs to be coated with sunscreen with a high SPF.

4. Tighten muscle tissue

Tights can provide long-term comfort and improve your performance by increasing lymphatic activity and blood flow. It also has the effect of fixing muscles, so as to prevent muscle vibration and reduce muscle pain. A simple pair of sports shorts can produce excellent results in the process of riding for a long time. Now there are tight equipment suitable for all parts of the body on the market. Put them on. They will bring great results to everyone's riding.

5. Adjust the vehicle

Any motorcycle can only be regarded as the starting point of ergonomics, which is almost the same for Honda golden wing or R1 sports car. You can adjust the vehicle's state in advance to cope with the long time riding. The handlebars, clutch, brake, shock absorption and so on should be adjusted to your best position. A wider foot pedal can make your riding more comfortable. A proper windshield can even halve your fatigue of riding for a long time! (it should be noted that excessive windshield may also affect the handling and stability of the motorcycle)

6. Prevent red ass

Wet buttocks can easily cause inflammation, or even worse.

7. Stabilize hand warmth

Frozen fingers lose flexibility, which is very dangerous for you to ride. You can put some chemical hand warmers in your gloves, or you can cut some soft and warm materials from other clothes to make gloves. In extreme weather, adding a layer of plastic bags in gloves is also a good way to prevent wind and water.

8. Walk more

No matter how comfortable riding is in your eyes, sitting in the car for a long time will cause your back and legs to ache, so you need to get out of the car and walk around more. Remember, you must pay attention to safety and don't stay on the road where there is a high possibility of danger. However, when it is inconvenient to move on a long-distance trip, you can sit in the back seat of the motorcycle, put your feet on the bumper, or simply stand up. This also has good results. Standing and riding can help you relax your leg muscles and deliver blood to your back, feet and legs. But the time of standing and riding should not be too long, because the strong wind pressure will make you more tired.

9. Take a rest in time

Sometimes it's okay to stop and have a rest. Once the environment is cold, take a nap in a warm place, and vice versa. Drink some water to replenish energy, divert your attention from riding and relax. A moment of mental relaxation may support you to ride to your destination.
